Capture Inc. started as an idea and vision of its founders and CEOs, Terry Mclean and Phillip McLean in 2001 in the Freemont community of Longs SC. “Capturing the lives of our young people today for their futures tomorrow” was the focus then and definitely is the focus now. The work began in a small local one room business where the McLean’s and several volunteers patiently and willingly addressed the need of dozens of at-risk youth. Summer enrichment programs, tutoring, social skills training, wellness, mentoring, emergency shelter, meals, recreation activities, after school programs and many other services were provided to children at no cost. Capture Inc. has since transitioned from that one room building that hosted close to 60 children into a 32,000 sq. ft facility nestled on 10.3 acres of land in the beautiful city of Loris SC. A small vision has grown into a major community outreach. A goal of the organization is to continue to plant more Capture Inc. facilities in other cities around the county to assist the need of youth in at-risk communities. Capture Inc. is an established non-profit organization that offers a safe and secure facility for all people and is a nonprofit 501c3 entity and has been since 2003.
